What to wear

SUNDAY 30 MAYIndian outfitsWe know some of you are excited to wear Indian outfits! For women, we'd suggest a saree or lehenga, and for men, a sherwani or a kurta pajama with a Nehru jacket.Of course, you don't have to wear Indian. If not, smart, comfortable and colourful is perfect: for women, a bright dress or jumpsuit, and for men, a suit or blazer with a colourful shirt or tie.It's a good idea to wear or bring comfortable shoes, as the ceremony will be outside on the barn field if the weather is sunny!

Lewes is the best place to base yourself. Every venue is a short drive away, and trains run direct from London Victoria.
Where to stay
We recommend staying in Lewes. There are lots of Airbnbs, and apartments and B&Bs on booking.com. Book early if you can, as it gets busy with the Glyndebourne festival nearby.

Getting here
BY TRAINDirect from London VictoriaTrains run straight to Lewes about every half hour and take just over an hour. From Lewes, each venue is a short drive or cab away.
BY CARAbout 2 hours' driveFrom central London it's about 2 hours to Lewes, depending on traffic, and about 20 minutes more to Alfriston. Head down the M23 towards Brighton, then take the A27 east to Lewes.

SATURDAYLewes to St Andrew's, then MulberriesSt Andrew's is about a 20 minute drive from Lewes, and Mulberries is about 20 minutes back towards Lewes.
SUNDAYLewes to Gote Barn, RingmerJust a 10 minute drive from Lewes, and there's parking on site.
